Rates of early-onset cancer, affecting individuals under 50 years old, have been on the rise globally since 1990, with the highest proportion of diagnoses occurring in men and women in their 40s.

The country’s incidence rate ranks 91st globally, but the mortality rate is ranked 50th, with a trend of younger individuals being affected by the disease.
