On the evening of July 4th, a homicide occurred outside of Academy Sports + Outdoors in the Festival Centre. The victim, a 22-year-old man named DeShaun Bonner, was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds and later passed away. The Mobile Police Department is currently investigating the incident and has not yet named any suspects.
