According to Lebanese sources, four Hezbollah commanders were killed in the village of Juaya last night. One of the commanders, Talib Sami Abdullah, also known as “Hajj Abu Talib”, was part of the An-Nasr division. He held a prominent position in the military structure of Hezbollah, with responsibility for the central sector from the Litani River to the Israeli border. This event marks the highest-ranking Hezbollah commander killed by Israelis since the beginning of the War of Iron Swords.

Talib Sami Abdullah was targeted by rockets from Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) and died along with three other senior Hezbollah commanders: Hussein Muhammad Hamid (“Sajid”), Mustafa Soufan, and Muhammad Sabara. The building where they were located was completely destroyed, and nearby structures, including the house of a Shiite deputy of the Lebanese Parliament, were damaged.

Hezbollah has confirmed that at least 340 commanders and fighters have been lost during the ongoing conflict with Israel. The situation remains volatile in southern Lebanon, where Hezbollah operates, and tensions are high between both parties involved in the conflict.
