Israel is recognized as a pioneer in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles, having invented unmanned aircraft with its initial uses dating back to the Yom Kippur War. The country has emerged as a leader in the field, particularly in the security sector, with applications that have expanded into the civilian world. Major General (Res.) Eitan Ben Eliyahu, chairman of the conference, highlights Israel’s contributions and leadership in the field.

The international UAV summit is being held for the first time in Israel and will focus on the future of the field including vision, research, development, and challenges in applications. The conference aims to facilitate discussions on policy, business, innovation, and the research and development of ideas.

The “World’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Conference” will kick off with an opening event on June 30 at the Nation Buildings in Jerusalem. The conference will run from July 1-2 from 08:30-17:00 each day.
