The World Health Organization (WHO) has released its third Investment case, titled All for Health, Health for All. This case was created in collaboration with the Fourteenth General Programme of Work (GPW 14) and focuses on the impact of a fully funded WHO over the period of 2025-2028. Through the GPW 14 themes of Provide, Promote, and Protect health, the Investment case showcases key policy commitments and deliverables.

One of the annexes included in the Investment case is the Methods annex, which outlines the methodology used to calculate the number of lives saved as a result of GPW 14 activities. By working closely with Member States and partners, WHO aims to save an additional 40 million lives through this investment round.

The Investment case serves as a main campaign document for WHO’s efforts to secure full financing for GPW 14 through front-loaded, predictable, and flexible resources. This investment will have a significant impact on global health outcomes by improving access to healthcare services, promoting healthy behaviors, and protecting vulnerable populations from disease outbreaks.

Overall, this Investment case highlights the importance of investing in WHO and demonstrates how it can make a tangible difference in saving lives and promoting health worldwide. With strategic partnerships and a commitment to key policy areas, WHO is poised to make significant strides in improving global health outcomes for all people.
