Small business owners and entrepreneurs in Arkansas can take advantage of a free learning opportunity in June through the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC) at Arkansas State University. ASBTDC offers confidential guidance in various areas such as business planning, financial analysis, market research, loan packaging, growth and expansion, marketing, and profitability.

Consulting sessions with an ASBTDC business consultant are available for business owners who want one-on-one assistance. However, spots for consulting sessions are limited and registration is required by calling 870-972-3517. These events are made possible at no cost thanks to sponsorships from FNBC Bank, First Community Bank, Northeast Arkansas Regional Intermodal Authority, East Arkansas Planning & Development District, First Security Bank, and Simmons Bank.

Upcoming events in June include an online coffee chat led by Robert Bahn and Clint Vogus on June 4, consulting sessions hosted by Laura Miller at the Newport Area Chamber of Commerce Tech Depot on June 13
