On Saturday, Science Central in Fort Wayne, Indiana will be unveiling a new exhibition titled ‘America’s Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains’. This exhibition is set to open at 10 a.m. on June 8th and will be located in Science Central’s Temporary Exhibitions Gallery. The addition of this exhibition brings the organization’s total to over 200 permanent exhibits, daily demonstrations, and special events.
The ‘America’s Monsters, Superheroes, and Villains’ exhibition features an impressive collection of vintage toys, comic books, games, posters, and media. These items are accompanied by interpretative signage that explains their cultural significance. The exhibition takes a closer look at how pop culture has reflected changing values and cultural tensions in the United States over the past 80 years.
