The University of Wisconsin football team has recently welcomed four-star linebacker Mason Posa to their roster. Posa, who was also being courted by top programs such as Alabama, USC, and Oregon, made the decision to sign with the Badgers. The 6’3, 210-pound linebacker from Albequerque’s La Cueva High School is considered to be the No. 1 recruit in New Mexico by 247Sports and is rated as the No. 18 linebacker prospect in the nation.

In addition to Posa, the Badgers have also secured commitments from a number of other talented players, including OT Logan Powell, OT Logan Davenport, CB Rukeem Stroud, CB Jahmare Washington, TE Nizyi Davis, and DL Torin Pettaway. With the addition of Posa, the team now has a total of 18 commitments and they are expected to add even more as they continue to recruit top targets and host official visits.
