Acaden Lewis, a highly sought-after prospect for the 2025 class, has recently received an offer from North Carolina. The Tar Heels have made him a priority target and are currently in a good position to make a run at his commitment. However, they will face stiff competition from other Blue Blood programs like Kentucky, Kansas, and Duke, who are also pursuing Lewis.

Lewis is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound guard who is currently ranked No. 34 nationally and No. 6 combo guard by 247Sports. His recruitment has been gaining momentum in recent weeks, with offers pouring in from several prominent schools including UNC, UK, KU, and Duke.

The Tar Heels will need to showcase their strengths during Lewis’ upcoming visits to UNC this summer and October if they want to impress him and secure his commitment. Analyst Travis Branham has noted that Lewis’ strong performances on the court have contributed to his rise in the recruiting rankings. The Tar Heels will need to compete with other elite programs vying for his attention in order to land him on their roster for the 2025 season.
