San Rafael’s Alex Valasek, a fan favorite, improved to 5-0 this season with a complete-game performance that helped the Pacifics secure a 14-6 victory over the Dublin Leprechauns. He is currently tied for the lead in wins in the Pecos League. Mark Hernandez had three hits in the game, with Esai Santos, Aki Buckson, Beau Dorman, and John Bicos each contributing two hits. The Pacifics, with a record of 21-9, finished a successful 3-1 road swing. They have won five of their last six games and lead the Pacific Division by 4 1/2 games over Bakersfield. San Rafael is set to host Vallejo at Albert Park on Saturday at 6 p.m.
