The UM Health-Sparrow Ionia Rehabilitation Center recently opened in downtown Ionia, marking a new chapter for the community. This new facility not only houses a pain management clinic but will also offer rehabilitation services starting on Monday, June 3.

The hospital itself, Sparrow Ionia Hospital, became UM Health-Sparrow Ionia in April, signaling a deeper connection and partnership with the University of Michigan Health System. President Linda Reetz of UM Health-Sparrow Ionia expressed excitement about repurposing the previously vacant space into a valuable community center. The new rehab facility spans 7,524 square feet, significantly larger than the previous location, providing more space and resources for patients.
