The St. Louis Battlehawks standout linebacker Willie Harvey Jr. is set to have a workout with the Dallas Cowboys on Tuesday, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Media. Harvey, 28, had an impressive season playing for the Battlehawks earlier this year and earned a spot on the All-UFL team. In 10 games, he recorded 78 tackles and four sacks, leading the league in tackles. Additionally, Harvey topped all linebackers in tackles for loss, passes defensed, and forced fumbles.

Harvey was once a standout at Iowa State and signed with the Cleveland Browns as an undrafted free agent in 2019. During his three-year tenure with the Browns, he played in four games and recorded two tackles while primarily contributing on special teams, with 48 snaps in that capacity. Despite his limited playing time on defense in the NFL thus far, Harvey has shown promise and potential in other areas of the game.

Given their current needs and desire for depth at the linebacker position, the Cowboys are exploring the possibility of adding Harvey to their roster. His impressive performance in the UFL and his experience in the NFL make him an intriguing option for Dallas as they look to bolster their defense and special teams units.
