The 2024 U20 Wrestling Trials will take place from May 31st to June 1st in Geneva, Ohio. This event will feature men’s freestyle wrestling competitions. Below are the results of the Round of 16 matches.
Davis Motyka from PA representing X-Calibur Athletics Wrestling Club defeated Haakon Peterson from WI of Askren Wrestling Academy with a victory by points, 4-2. Nathan Desmond, also from PA and representing X-Calibur Athletics Wrestling Club, secured a victory by technical superiority (VSU) against Garret Rinken from IA of Panther Wrestling Club RTC with a score of 10-0 in 2:48.
Other notable matches included Christian Castillo from AZ defeating Cael Nasdeo from PA with a victory by points, 6-3. Isaiah Cortez from CA secured a victory by technical superiority (VSU) against Christian Guzman from FL with a score of 16-5 in 5:10. Aaron Seidel from PA of Steller Trained Wrestling also achieved a victory by technical superiority (VSU) against Ezekiel Witt from KS of Manhattan Regional Training Center (MRTC) with a score of 10-0 in 1:13.
