Boston Celtics fans are eagerly anticipating the next game of the Eastern Conference finals, which will be played at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. However, Indiana Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton is unlikely to play in Game 3 due to his ongoing hamstring injury.

Haliburton sustained the injury during Game 2 of the series and has been experiencing some discomfort ever since. The Pacers head coach, Rick Carlisle, mentioned that Haliburton’s hamstring was sore at halftime and he tried to play through it. However, after exiting the game in the third quarter, Haliburton was visibly upset and ultimately ruled out for the remainder of the game by trainers.

In addition to his hamstring issue, Haliburton also suffered a chest injury during a collision with Jaylen Brown from the Celtics. This marks another health concern for Haliburton dating back to January when he initially injured his hamstring against the same team. Despite scoring an impressive 10 points in just 8 minutes before leaving Game 2, Haliburton is not expected to take part in Game 3.

The Pacers are currently down 2-0 in the series and need all hands on deck if they hope to make a comeback against their arch-rivals from Boston. Fans will have to wait and see if other players step up and fill Haliburton’s shoes for Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
