The 2023 season saw Tyreek Hill attempt to break Calvin Johnson’s single-season receiving record, but an ankle injury in Week 14 and a missed game in Week 15 halted his progress. Despite leading the league with 1,799 yards, Hill fell short of Johnson’s record of 1,964 yards set in 2012 when Johnson caught 122 passes in 16 games.
