The Texas Health and Human Services Commission is hosting a mental health resource festival in Amarillo on Saturday. The Turn To festival will feature local resources and substance use prevention organizations in the community, with the goal of providing family-friendly activities and events to help reduce stress, address mental health concerns, and connect community members with necessary resources.

The event will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Amarillo College FirstBank Southwest Center on S. Washington St. HHSC Chief Program and Services Officer Michelle Alletto emphasized the importance of accessing behavioral health resources within one’s own community during the Turn To campaign, which provides Texans with an opportunity to access support where they live.
