A man was shot to death inside a business in Howell on Friday, prompting the police to make an arrest. The incident took place at approximately 5:30 p.m. on the 100 block of W. Grand River Avenue, and authorities found the victim with a gunshot wound upon arrival at the scene.

Fortunately, there is no danger to the public as a result of this incident, which is confirmed to have been an isolated event unrelated to the Balloonfest event. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
