The small World War II-era plane, a twin-engine Lockheed 12A, crashed shortly after taking off from a local airport in Chino, California. According to reports, two people lost their lives in the tragic plane crash. Emergency responders, including firefighters from the Chino Valley Fire District, arrived at the scene to find the plane had crashed in a grass field about 200 yards away from the airport’s runway.
