Dylan Pariseau, a 27-year-old man who was known for his infectious personality and love of science, was tragically killed in a double murder-suicide along with his mother, Sima Setian Pariseau. The family has requested that donations be made to Survivors Empowered, a non-profit supporting gun violence survivors or the Baystate Health Foundation Neo-Natal Unit in his memory.

Dylan graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School in 2015 and went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and chemistry from Keene State College in 2019. He worked as a research associate at Moderna Therapeutics before becoming a senior research associate at Verve Therapeutics. Outside of work, Dylan had a deep passion for Boston sports and enjoyed watching Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins games.

Known for his ability to make friends with anyone he met, Dylan’s kind and warm personality left a lasting impact on those around him. His legacy of kindness and friendship will live on in the hearts of those who loved him most. A visitation for Dylan and Sima will be held at St. Cecilia Church in Wilbraham on Wednesday with a funeral service to follow on Thursday. The family will hold a private burial ceremony.
