Los Angeles-based actor Johnny Wactor, known for his role as Brando Corbin on “General Hospital,” tragically passed away at the age of 37. According to reports, he was shot and killed after confronting three individuals involved in a robbery.

Wactor was reportedly shot during a theft incident that escalated into a deadly confrontation. The Los Angeles Police Department stated that he was shot after trying to stop the suspects from stealing a catalytic converter. The suspects then fled the scene after shooting Wactor.

While the LAPD did not officially confirm that Wactor was the victim, a law enforcement source informed the Los Angeles Times that he was indeed the actor involved. The LA Medical Examiner has not provided any comments on the matter.

The entertainment industry is mourning the loss of Johnny Wactor, who spent two years on “General Hospital” before departing in 2022. The show expressed their sadness over his sudden passing, highlighting his talent and pleasant demeanor. Wactor’s representatives have not yet responded to requests for comments.
