Tottenham has signed Timo Werner on loan for the 2024/25 season, and we asked for your thoughts on the move.

Dean believes that it is a sensible business decision. By having Werner on loan, the team can focus on strengthening other positions this summer and have another season to assess whether to seek an upgrade or sign Werner permanently for less than 10 million.

Tristen, however, is not impressed with the deal. He feels that Werner offers very little and has no end product, and does not improve the squad. Tristen believes that the team needs a number 9 and suggests positioning Son on the left, Johnson on the right, and bringing Harry Kane back to play as the number nine. He also expresses displeasure with what he views as mediocre signings by Levy.

Clive sees the loan extension as a savvy move. He believes that Werner showed potential last season and will be a valuable addition to the squad. With a full pre-season with the team, Clive expects Werner to improve even further. While he may not start every game, Clive views him as a great squad player.

Geoff acknowledges Werner’s promise but notes that his end delivery and finishing in front of goal need improvement. He suggests that investing in a young striker who can develop and stay at the club for longer may be a better use of funds.
