On June 24, HireKreidler Consulting Group announced that BJ Harden, J.D., will be joining their firm after six years as the chief of staff to Kansas House Speaker Dan Hawkins.

Harden brings a wealth of experience from both the public and private sectors, as well as the world of politics. In his new role at HireKreidler Consulting Group, Harden will focus on political consulting, public policy, lobbying, and legal compliance. He is a graduate of Washburn University School of Law and an alumnus of the American Enterprise Institute Leadership Network.

Meanwhile, on June 14 from 4-8 p.m., the Historic Topeka Cemetery will host a retirement celebration for its superintendent Lisa Sandmeyer. Sandmeyer has played a crucial role in the cemetery’s success over the past 10 years and attendees will have the opportunity to wish her well as she embarks on the next chapter of her life. The new superintendent, Lisa Ford, will also be present to welcome guests.
