According to statistics from mobile phone retailers like Elisa, Telia, and Dna, Chinese company OnePlus was the top-selling phone in June. Sales data revealed that cheaper models and 5G phones were the highlights of the best-selling list for the month. While specific sales volumes were not disclosed, the Chinese OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite emerged as the best-selling phone in the consumer category for Gigantti, Telia, and Dna.

Business customers preferred Apple and Samsung A-series phones, while economic factors such as tighter economies led to less spending on children’s phones. The sales manager of Gigantti noted that promotional campaigns played a significant role in sales. On the other hand, Elisa observed that consumers bought phones in a wide range of price categories in June.

Telia reported a growing interest in 5G technology among customers, with all top ten best-sellers being 5G devices. The company mentioned that June was a busy time in the telephone market due to school ending and discount sales. Similarly, Dna reported that summer was a busy period for them as people recognized the need for phone upgrades, especially when traveling and needing better battery life or screen brightness for their phones.
