In recent years, Universum has released new rankings based on what US students perceive as their ideal employers. JPMorgan Chase topped the list of business students’ top choices, followed by Fidelity Investments and BlackRock.
The rankings were compiled through a survey of over 40,000 US students from September 2023 to April 2024. The lists were segmented based on the field of study, such as business, with students listing up to five ideal employers.
As recent graduates transition from education to full-time work, landing their dream job can be challenging. The current labor market presents additional obstacles for job seekers entering the workforce. Despite these challenges, JPMorgan Chase emerged as the top choice for US business students, capturing 14% of the share in the rankings. Fidelity Investments made significant jumps in the rankings compared to the previous year, climbing from No. 22 to No. 15 and earning a share of 5.06% in the new ranking results.
