As the Tennessee Titans prepare for their next open practice, there is promising news regarding the potential return of second-round pick and defensive lineman T’Vondre Sweat. After missing the team’s first open practice of organized team activities last week, Sweat was seen working with the rehab group, as reported by head coach Brian Callahan. Fortunately, it was later confirmed that Sweat’s injury is not a serious one.

Offensive tackle Jaelyn Duncan, who also missed last week’s session, is not expected to be back on the field for the upcoming practice. Both Sweat and Duncan are vying for starting positions in the 2024 season, but Sweat appears to have the upper hand in securing a starting role due to the limited options available for the Titans.

Beat writer Paul Kuharsky has reported that Sweat may be able to rejoin practice soon. It is crucial for Duncan to make the most of the offseason practices and not miss any opportunities to demonstrate his skills as he faces stiff competition at right tackle.
