The Minnesota Timberwolves responded to criticism from Draymond Green towards Karl-Anthony Towns and Rudy Gobert. During the Western Conference semifinal round between the Dallas Mavericks and Timberwolves, Green made disparaging comments about Minnesota’s big men, accusing Gobert of being unable to defend Mavericks star Luka Dončić and claiming Towns wasn’t truthful about his pregame preparation.

The team, led by Anthony Edwards, was displeased with Green’s remarks and decided to boycott on-court interviews with Green and the panel following their Game 4 win over Dallas. This decision was reported by The Athletic’s Shams Charania, who stated that the team was united in their decision not to participate in the “Inside the NBA” postgame show as a show of support for Gobert and Towns.

As a result, no Timberwolves player appeared on “Inside the NBA” for the rest of the series after Game 4. Unfortunately for the team, their season ended abruptly with a disappointing Game 5 loss on Thursday.
