TikTok has announced that they are addressing a cyber attack that targeted high-profile accounts such as those of Paris Hilton and CNN. The parent company, ByteDance, stated that only a small number of accounts were compromised, with CNN confirming that their account was locked out.

ByteDance is currently working with affected account owners to restore access if necessary. Meanwhile, the cyber attack has been attributed to a group of Russian cyber criminals and has had a significant impact on major London hospitals, forcing them to declare a critical incident.
