On Sunday morning, Toprak Razgatlioglu continued his impressive performance at Misano by winning the Superpole race. The BMW rider overtook Nicolo Bulega to take the lead and held onto it until the final laps, extending his lead in the 2024 World Superbike championship. Alex Lowes finished in third place for Kawasaki.

Bulega and his Ducati teammate Alvaro Bautista faced difficulties during the race, with Bulega rejoining the track after running wide and clipping Lowes. Meanwhile, Bautista fell from his Panigale and finished 17th. Remy Gardner and Garrett Gerloff both crashed, while Sam Lowes also fell early in the race.

Despite starting 15th on the grid, Jonathan Rea managed to finish in eighth place, showcasing his skill and determination on track. The full-length Race 2 is scheduled for this afternoon at 14:00 local time.

The Superpole Race results saw Razgatlioglu take first place, followed by Bulega and Lowes. Other notable finishers included Andrea Locatelli in fourth and Andrea Iannone in fifth. The race was marked by a mix of drama and skill, setting up an exciting Race 2 later in the day.
