The Washington Commanders’ general manager, Adam Peters, is reshaping his front office with a series of key hirings. According to Neil Stratton of @InsideTheLeague, the Commanders are set to bring on Chris White as the new Director of Pro Scouting. White previously worked with the Chicago Bears for two seasons as the Assistant Director of Pro Scouting before being promoted in 2022. He has held various roles within the Bears organization since 2014, including scouting assistant, pro scouting coordinator, and pro scout.

Peters has been making significant changes to the front office since taking over in January. Some of the key hirings include Lance Newmark as Assistant General Manager, Martin Mayhew who was reassigned from GM to senior personnel executive/advisor, Brandon Sosna as Senior Vice President of Football Operations, and David Blackburn as Director of Player Personnel. These moves are reflected on the team’s official website.

However, Stratton has reported additional hirings on the scouting side that have not yet been updated on the website. As Peters continues to shape the front office according to his vision, multiple members of the previous regime have departed for other scouting positions. The Commanders’ front office is undergoing significant changes under Peters’ leadership.
