The Golden State Warriors have opted not to retain Lester Quinones on their roster. This has made him an unrestricted free agent as of Sunday. Despite his impressive performance with the team last season, where he appeared in 37 games and averaged 4.4 points, 1.9 rebounds, and shot at 39.7% from the field and 36.4% from 3-point range, the team has decided not to offer him a qualifying deal.

Quinones joined the Warriors on a full NBA contract on February 22th and was able to showcase his defensive skills while fitting well into both offensive and defensive schemes. However, as the team looks to shake up its roster for the upcoming season, Quinones is now seeking opportunities elsewhere in the league. He has played a total of 41 games with the team over the past two seasons and showed promise during his time with their G League affiliate, Santa Cruz Warriors.

It remains to be seen whether other NBA teams will be interested in Quinones after his performance this past season. However, his abilities and potential make it likely that he will land a new spot on a roster before the start of the upcoming season as he continues to explore his options in the league during this offseason period.
