The Tennessee Titans were able to quickly sign their entire draft class this year, a stark contrast to last year when negotiations dragged on until late July. The team announced on Tuesday that they have signed second-round pick T’Vondre Sweat, the last remaining unsigned draft pick on their roster.

While Sweat is expected to start in the middle of the defensive line, his absence from practice due to injury has hindered his development. He has been sidelined since rookie minicamp and head coach Brian Callahan expects him to be back in time for training camp, with a potential return as early as next week for the end of OTAs.

The Titans have uncertain options beyond Sweat, so his return to full health and participation in practices will be crucial for his development and readiness for the season ahead. Despite his injury setback, the team remains optimistic about Sweat’s potential contributions in the upcoming season.
