The Tennessee Titans are in search of additional support for their offensive line, and they are reportedly considering an option from the United Football League. According to AtoZ Sports’ Mike Payton, the Titans are one of two teams interested in Michigan Panthers edge rusher Breeland Speaks, with the Carolina Panthers being the other interested party.

Speaks was recognized as the UFL’s Defensive Player of the Year in 2024 after recording 9.5 sacks, earning him a spot on the All-UFL Team. A former second-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs in 2018, Speaks played in 16 games during his rookie season but has not seen any NFL action since. With the departure of Denico Autry to the Houston Texans this offseason, the Titans are left with a gap in their defense that needs to be filled. Their current options for depth at the position are uncertain at best.

Given his impressive performance in the UFL and his experience as a former NFL player, Speaks would likely have a good opportunity to secure a spot on the roster and contribute to the team given the current situation. The team will be closely watching his progress as they consider their options for the upcoming season. If Speaks can prove himself worthy of a spot on the roster, he could be a valuable addition to their defensive line and help fill the void left by Autry’s departure.
