Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes salvaged a 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford on Sunday by scoring a sensational goal that left the Reds stunned. After a poor first half, Fernandes capitalized on an error by Liverpool to bring the score level.

United had trailed 1-0 at halftime and had not attempted a shot on target while giving Liverpool 15 shots. The fans booed as the hosts left the pitch at halftime. However, Fernandes provided the perfect response with his incredible goal.

It is unclear what United manager Erik ten Hag said to his team at halftime, but Fernandes’ goal seemed to come out of nowhere. His awareness on the pitch is top-notch.

When Jarell Quansah made a poor decision with a ball into space, Fernandes was quick to pounce on the error. He noticed Liverpool goalkeeper Caoiminh Kelleher out of position and took his chance, scoring a magnificent goal that soared into the top of the net.

With the score now tied 1-1, Manchester United has taken control of the game at Old Trafford, showing resilience and determination after a disappointing first half.
