On Saturday, the Tennessee Volunteers and Texas A&M Aggies will face off in game one of the College World Series championship series. This SEC showdown in Omaha for the title will pit two conference opponents who have only met once this season against each other. The Volunteers are currently leading the series with a record of 58-12, while the Aggies sit at 52-13.

This marks the first time that the Volunteers have made it to the College World Series championship since 1951, when they lost to Oklahoma. Now, they have an opportunity to compete for their first-ever baseball championship in a three-game series in Omaha. The Volunteers have been perfect up until this point, maintaining a flawless record throughout the tournament.

DraftKings has listed Tennessee at -180 odds to win game one of the championship series, with odds fluctuating since Thursday when they were at -154. The game is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 7:30 PM EST and will take place at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, Nebraska. Fans can catch all of the action on ESPN/ESPN+.
