IUP baseball has just made its first appearance in the NCAA DII College World Series after winning its first Super Regional series in program history. The Crimson Hawks are seeded fifth in the tournament, which will take place from June 1-8 in Cary, North Carolina.

In the first round of the tournament, IUP will face No. 5 seed Point Loma on Saturday, June 1, at 1:30 p.m. After dropping the first game to Seton Hill in the NCAA Super Regionals, IUP fought back with consecutive wins to secure their spot in the DII College World Series. This historic achievement marks a successful campaign for the Crimson Hawks this season.

The Championship finals schedule includes games from June 1-8, with IUP facing Point Loma in the opening match. Other matchups in the tournament include Central Missouri vs. Angelo State, Catawba vs. Southern New Hampshire, and Tampa vs. UIndy. The tournament will culminate with the Championship game on Saturday, June 8.
