The New England Patriots have announced that they have released receiver T.J. Luther to make room for the signing of wideout JaQuan Jackson on Thursday. Luther, who was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted rookie free agent in 2023, was released before the start of the season. He then signed with the Patriots, but was released by them last October. However, he was re-signed to the practice squad.

Despite his departure, the Patriots still have a strong group of wide receivers, with 12 currently on the roster. This news was originally reported on Patriots Wire. The team is expected to continue making changes to the roster as they prepare for training camp.
