In Florida, a woman named Christy Turman attempted to steal a car from a dealership but ended up calling the police on herself during the act. Her intention was to take one of the vehicles on display, but she decided to alert the authorities by calling them while in the process of stealing the car.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office received her call and sent deputies to the scene. They saw her exiting the stolen vehicle, and Turman claimed she was participating in a “game of Black Ops” to steal a car and thought notifying the deputies beforehand would make it legal. However, this led to her being arrested for trespassing instead of grand theft.

Fortunately for Turman, the police arrived in time to prevent her from actually stealing the car. Upon searching the dealership, they found that an Audi A5 door had been left open but no evidence of any vehicles being stolen.

Turman’s criminal record dates back to 2005 and includes arrests for petty theft, robbery, and aggravated battery. This incident adds another unusual chapter to her history of criminal activities.
