The Minnesota Vikings have been in the news this week for two major reasons: the signing of receiver Justin Jefferson to a $140 million contract and the unveiling of their new alternate uniforms. The team is now grabbing attention with their fancy all-white “Winter Warrior” uniforms that they will wear during their Week 15 Monday night game against the Chicago Bears on Dec. 16.

In a video posted on social media, players like Jefferson, Aaron Jones, Harrison Smith, and others were seen sporting the new arctic-inspired uniforms. The all-white look features the Vikings’ signature purple outlining the Viking horn logo on the helmet, a silver stripe down the middle, and purple and silver stripes on the shoulders and pantlines. The jersey numbers are purple with a silver outline, and the nameplates are all purple, giving a distinct look to the team.

The concept for the “Winter Warrior” uniforms has been in development for two years, with fans providing positive feedback that led to the team embracing this new alternate look.
