The Longhorns of Texas fought their way to the Women’s College World Series with a hard-fought victory over No. 16 seed Texas A&M. Florida defeated unseeded Baylor 5-3, Duke triumphed over No. 7 Missouri 4-3, Alabama pulled off an upset against No. 3 Tennessee with a score of 4-1, and Stanford emerged victorious over No. 9 LSU with a score of 8-0. Duke’s win marked the first time in their program’s history that they qualified for the World Series, setting up a showdown with Oklahoma State aiming for their fourth consecutive national title.
