The Eau Claire Health Alliance has released a new resource for individuals struggling with alcohol, tobacco, or other substance misuse. The book, titled “The Little Recovery Book,” aims to provide support and education on resources available for treatment and harm reduction.

Alcohol and substance misuse are identified as the top health concerns in Eau Claire County by the Health Alliance. As such, the organization has made it a priority to provide this valuable resource to the community.

“The Little Recovery Book” was launched on June 13 and has been widely distributed throughout Eau Claire. It is also available online and offers information on various resources such as peer-run respites and phone numbers and websites for those facing crisis situations.

Renee Sommer, Director of At The Roots LLC within the Health Alliance, emphasizes the challenge individuals face when searching for available treatment options. The book aims to educate individuals on these resources and provide a starting point for those in need of support.

Since its release, the Health Alliance anticipates that “The Little Recovery Book” will have a positive impact on individuals seeking assistance with substance misuse. It can be downloaded from the Eau Claire Health Alliance website to provide valuable information and support to those in need.
