Camp Kemo, a free summer camp for children with cancer, is returning to the Midlands for its 45th year. Hosted by Prisma Health Children’s Hospital – Midlands, the camp provides various activities for children with cancer or blood disorders along with their siblings. The camp is fully funded through donations to the Prisma Health Midlands Foundation, allowing families to attend at no cost.

This year’s theme for Camp Kemo is “The Great Expedition,” and the camp aims to give parents of children with cancer a much-needed break and peace of mind as their children are in the care of trained medical staff. The camp will take place from June 10 to June 14 at Camp Cole in Eastover, SC.
