BET+ is set to premiere the fifth season of The Family Business on July 4th. Written by Carl Weber, the new season will consist of ten episodes, with three premiering at launch and a new episode every Thursday leading up to the season finale on August 22nd, 2024.
The Duncan family is facing their biggest challenge yet as they are embroiled in a civil war against one of LC’s own sons. As Vegas returns home and Junior leaves the family, LC is determined to protect his blood at all costs. Allies turn into enemies as they plot to take over The Table. A mysterious thief emerges, leading Rio on a transformative journey that will impact the Duncan family forever. Additionally, Paris’s ex-boyfriend Niles Monroe reappears with a warning of revenge.
Directed by Trey Haley, the series features Ernie Hudson as LC Duncan, the head of Duncan Motors. Alongside Hudson, the cast includes Valarie Pettiford, Darrin Henson, Javicia Leslie, Sean Ringgold, Tami Roman, Arrington Foster, Michael Jai White, LisaRaye McCoy and more.
