The College World Series will kick off with an elimination game on Monday as Florida faces N.C. State in Omaha. Both teams are fighting to stay in the tournament after losing their first-round games by one run. With one loss each in the double-elimination bracket, the Gators and Wolfpack must avoid any more losses to advance to the CWS finals.

Florida and N.C. State have a limited history, facing off only seven times in their programs’ history and six times in postseason tournaments. The Gators hold a 5-2 edge in head-to-head matchups, with the most recent clash in June 2012 resulting in a 9-8 extra-innings win for Florida.

The game will take place at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha, with tickets ranging from $10-$100 before fees on Ticketmaster. The matchup will be televised on ESPN at 2 p.m. ET, with streaming available on platforms like ESPN+ and YouTube TV.
