South Carolina’s state lawmakers have been working to prevent the use of name, image, and likeness by athletes. However, a bill introduced in March to prohibit such practices has been tabled. This bill was introduced in an effort to allow young athletes the opportunity to make money through coaching and lessons outside of school facilities.
