As the summer transfer window approaches, Premier League giants are showing interest in Atletico Madrid striker Samu Omorodion. With his impressive performance on a season-long loan at Alaves, scoring eight goals in La Liga, Omorodion has caught the attention of several clubs.

Napoli, a Serie A powerhouse, has been linked to Omorodion as a potential replacement for Victor Osimhen. However, despite Atletico Madrid’s desire to keep him, Omorodion’s future at the club remains uncertain. The club is reportedly looking for at least €40m for the 20-year-old, which has dampened interest from Italian clubs.

Despite this setback, English Premier League side Chelsea is considering making an offer to strengthen their attacking lineup for the upcoming season. According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea has made an initial offer of €40m for Omorodion. However, Atletico Madrid is holding out for a higher fee, possibly closer to €80m. Talks are ongoing as the two clubs negotiate a potential deal for the talented striker.

If a deal can be reached between Chelsea and Atletico Madrid, it could prove to be a significant boost for both clubs’ attacking capabilities next season. With his pace and skill on the pitch, Omorodion has shown that he is capable of making a big impact in any team he plays for.
