The NFL has announced that the New York Giants will be the focus of an offseason edition of “Hard Knocks” in July. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean the Denver Broncos won’t be featured in the training camp version of the show in August. The Broncos, along with the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints, meet the requirements for a mandatory appearance on the popular NFL Films series that follows a team through training camp each year.

While the Bears are speculated to be the NFL’s top choice due to the recent draft of quarterback Caleb Williams as the No. 1 overall pick, Chicago has expressed a preference to not be on “Hard Knocks.” The league could potentially override the Bears’ wishes and select them for the show, or another team could step up and volunteer to be featured.

The Broncos, under coach Sean Payton, have hinted at finding positives in being on “Hard Knocks,” suggesting they are prepared in case they are chosen.
