The wait is finally over for the start of the 2024 NFL regular season, with only 92 days remaining until the Arizona Cardinals kick off their season on the road against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium in Orchard Park, New York. The highly anticipated game promises to be a thrilling affair as both teams look to make a statement and set the tone for the season ahead.

In preparation for this big game, the Cardinals have been hard at work this offseason, shoring up their roster and adding key pieces to their lineup. One such player is defensive lineman Bilal Nichols, who signed a three-year deal as a free agent this past spring. Nichols, who currently wears the No. 92 jersey, is expected to play a crucial role as a starter on the defense and make a significant impact on the team’s success.

As Cardinals fans prepare for another exciting season, they can’t help but reminisce about some of their most memorable players from years past. One such player was Frostee Rucker, who donned the No. 92 jersey from 2015 to 2017 during his time with the Cardinals. Rucker was known for his versatility on defense, alternating between being a starter and a key rotational player throughout his career in Arizona. Over five seasons with the team, he played in 73 games and started 38 of them while recording an impressive stat line that included 106 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 25 tackles for loss, 42 quarterback hits, four forced fumbles and one fumble recovery.

Rucker also made an impact off the field as well by serving as a locker room leader and playing twelve NFL seasons in total before retiring in 2018.
