The sixth edition of the World Baseball Classic will be held in March 2026 at LoanDepot Park in Miami, marking the first time that both Miami and Houston will host games. Along with LoanDepot Park, the tournament will also be held at Tokyo Dome in Japan, Hiram Bithorn Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Minute Maid Park in Houston.

Japan has emerged victorious in three out of the five competitions, with their most recent win being a thrilling 3-2 victory over Team USA. The top four teams from each of the four pools in the 2023 tournament have already secured their spots in the 2026 competition. The remaining four spots will be determined through qualifiers scheduled for 2025.
