Tennessee has once again emerged as the top-performing institution in the SEC, winning its third consecutive All-Sports title. The Volunteers finished first in the men’s division and second in the women’s division, securing the overall championship. This achievement was recognized by the USA TODAY Network, which presented Tennessee with the award based on its outstanding performance across all sports.

Athletics director Danny White praised the dedication and hard work of everyone involved with the Tennessee athletics program for this success. He expressed pride in not only the student-athletes but also coaches, staff, and fans who contributed to this achievement. The Volunteers earned a total of 148.13 points, surpassing Texas A&M, Florida, Georgia, and Arkansas to claim the top spot in the standings.

The scoring system used by USA TODAY Network is based on the number of teams competing in each sport, with each winner receiving points equal to that number. Despite having fewer individual team champions than their rivals Florida and Arkansas, Tennessee secured victories in softball, men’s basketball, and baseball while finishing second in three other sports. This strong performance across multiple sports allowed them to narrowly surpass Texas A&M for overall supremacy.

In addition to winning their third consecutive title in men’s sports, Texas A&M claimed victory for women’s all-around for their first time since 2014-15. Meanwhile
