Izayah Young, a linebacker prospect from San Marcos High School in Texas, received a scholarship offer from the University of Tennessee. The 6-foot and 205-pound athlete has been attracting attention from college programs for his dedication and performance on the field.

Young expressed his gratitude for the offer and mentioned that he learned a lot from William Inge and Forrest Lehman during a camp. While recruiting rankings are not available for Young from various sources like Rivals, 247Sports, On3, or ESPN, he has received scholarship offers from multiple schools including Lamar, Houston Christian, UTEP, North Texas, Baylor, UTSA, and Texas State.

Tennessee stands out as the first SEC school to offer Young a scholarship, showing early interest in his talents. His recruiting journey began with Texas State being the first school to extend him an offer on January 27, 2023.
